Based in Portsmouth, he started his journey on Wednesday 30th August at 5am, and the run is expected to take between 18 and 21 days.
Below is an interview with Lee.
In total, Lee will travel more than 860 miles, and is raising funds for RMA – The Royal Marines Charity in memory of his grandfather who was a Royal Marines Commando.

In order to officially be recognised as an ‘unsupported’ run he can’t accept any help whatsoever on his journey.
The rules state he must remain entirely alone from beginning to end, relying on his own resources, and carrying everything he needs with him in the ‘pram’ seen in the header image and gallery below.
This means that Lee has had to carry all food, drink and equipment needed. He is not allowed to use shops, hotels or anything provided by another person at any point.
So far, he has had to wild camp and collect water from natural resources.
The RMA has stated that to ensure that his unsupported run is not jeopardised in any way, people should not approach him should they catch sight of him along the way, but rather to show their support by donating via his fundraising page.
